Glee fever has certainly conquered television, and according to a spotlight on the show in the latest issue of Billboard, album sales, music downloads, and a sold-out summer concert tour have made the brand unstoppable.

Billboard caught up with the cast and crew at Los Angeles Saban's Theatre -- packed with Facebook and Twitter fans of the show -- for the taping of the season finale earlier this month. Millions in CD sales, top 10 singles, and, with the release of the cast's "Power of Madonna" soundtrack, a number 1 album, have made the show a "rare showbiz trifecta, generating substantial income across three platforms: TV, recording sales and touring."

Creator Ryan Murphy told Billboard he pitched the show as a brand, with 20th Century Fox's music department developing albums, downloads, and tours early on. Plans are already under way for a second, more extensive tour in 2011.
