Awards season is here, and everyone is turning their attention to the Toscars.

The Toscars is having its sixth annual comedy event, a night with hilarious parodies of Oscar-nominated films, A-list judges, and fake awards.

Every year after the Oscar nominations are announced, the Toscars contestants have three weeks to make a short low-budget parody of nominated films, and these are shown in Hollywood and evaluated by celebrity judges.

This year's highly anticipated panel of celebrity judges has been announced: Bruce Vilanch, Janina Gavankar, Eric Roberts, and Rex Lee.

The popular comedian and six-time Emmy Award-winner Bruce Vilanch, who was also a celebrity judge at last year's Toscars, has been invited back as the head judge. Vilanch, who is also the head writer for the Oscars, says the Toscars are "more fun than the actual Oscars."

Musician and actress Janina Gavankar will also be joining the panel of judges. She is best known for her roles in TV shows True Blood, The Gates, The League, and her appearance as a lesbian on The L Word.

Oscar-nominated actor and LGBT ally Eric Roberts is also confirmed for this event. He is known for his work in The Dark Knight and The Expendables. He has been in three seasons of the sitcom Less Than Perfect and had a recurring role on the NBC drama Heroes. He was nominated for both a Golden Globe and an Academy Award for his supporting role in Runaway Train.

The final judge to be on the panel of celebrity experts is actor Rex Lee. The gay Korean-American actor is best known for his role as Lloyd Lee in the HBO series Entourage and Mr. Wolfe in the ABC comedy Suburgatory.

Another celebrity addition to this year's Toscars is actress Tehmina Sunny, who starred in Oscar-nominated film Argo. She will be starring in a parody of Argo.

The official Toscars titles are Zamour, Link-In, The Life on P1, Breasts of the Southland Wild, Stargo, Miserable Lesbians, Silver Whinings Payback, Half Past Twelve (At Night), Skyfell (And I Can't Get Up), and Djangle (Unleashed).

The judges will decide the awards for Best Whactor, Best Whactress, Best Film, and more.

The Con-Artist, a parody of The Artist, took the award for Best Film last year. What will win the Toscar for Best Film this year? The winners will be revealed February 19 at the Lloyd E. Rigler Theatre at the Egyptian in Hollywood.
