Fans of the Hunger Games movie series have been treated to some beautiful promotional images and a new teaser trailer destined to set tongues wagging in anticipation of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1. Though this film, the third installment in the series, won't hit theaters until November 21, the early media blitz is already pulling moviegoers into the world of Panem.
The stunningly shot images feature various working-class people of Panem -- including famed hunk and Marine turned model Alex Minsky -- as reflections of their seven districts. The arresting images are labeled "District Heroes," though it's clear they are less of a celebration and more of a depiction of the struggle and adversity each hero faces in the unbalanced class system of the movie's world.
The teaser trailer is a cold, stark-white piece of political propaganda attempting to rally the citizens behind the Capitol, the ruling body of the Hunger Games, or face the consequences. It features Donald Sutherland as the menacing President Snow and LGBT ally Josh Hutcherson as the male damsel in distress Peeta.
