A dating app changes the life of an overworked advertising exec in more ways than he bargained for in J.C. Calciano's sharp rom-com, which features a splashy cameo by Morgan Fairchild. Available on DVD Tuesday.
8. DVD: Pillow Talk
The skilled comic performances of iconic stars Doris Day (nominated for a Best Actress Oscar) and Rock Hudson (bravely impersonating a gay character for much of the film) help make this fluffy 1959 classic a blueprint for countless rom-coms to come. Now available on Blu-ray and bulging with insightful bonus features.
7. BOOK: Odd Girls and Twilight Lovers: A History of Lesbian Life in 20th Century America
Lillian Faderman's landmark 1991 chronicle of female relationships from post-Victorian era tender friendships through to the more overt lesbian romances during the sexual revolution of the '60s and '70s is now available in a new edition (Columbia University Press, $24.50).
6. THEATRE: Desperately Seeking the Exit
In his hysterical one-man show Peter Michael Marino dishes the backstage dirt on his notorious musical adaptation of the Madonna vehicle Desperately Seeking Susan, which, strangely, used the songs of Blondie. Performed at New York's Triple Underground through May 18. Watch the trailer here.

Cat Cora and Curtis Stone host this vividly entertaining culinary competition, which follows a dozen chefs (including two gay contestants) as they race across 10 countries to sample local cuisine and then recreate in their own eateries. Airs Wednesdays on Bravo.
5. DVD: Diana Ross: Live in Central Park
The icon's legendary 1983 concert, during which she bravely soldiered on through a ferocious rainstorm but eventually stopped to resume the following night, features inescapable anthems such as "I'm Coming Out" as well as lesser-known hits like "Muscles." Both performances are available for the first time on DVD Tuesday.
4. BOOK: Most Talkative: Stories From the Front Lines of Pop Culture
In his breezy memoir (Henry Holt and Co., $25), Andy Cohen, the Watch What Happens Live hostand Bravo honcho responsible for the Real Housewives franchise, dishes on growing up a gay Jewish kid obsessed with pop culture and later hilarious run-ins with celebs such as Tammy Faye Bakker and Oprah Winfrey.

David Weissman's staggering look at the early days of the AIDS crisis as seen through the eyes of five people who lived in San Francisco prior to the epidemic is one of last year's best-reviewed films. Available on DVD Tuesday.
