10. BLU-RAY: Evita/Sister Act, Sister Act 2
In Alan Parker's stylish adaptation of Evita, Madonna delivers a respectable rendition of a challenging score as well as her second-finest acting performance (come on, will she ever top her work in Desperately Seeking Susan?) as imperious Argentine first lady Eva Peron, who was a whore to some but a saint to others. Whoopi Goldberg's acerbic banter with Maggie Smith is the highlight of the fish-out-of-water comedies Sister Act and Sister Act 2. All three films make their debuts on Blu-ray June 19.
9. FILM: Rock of Ages
Tom Cruise singing Bon Jovi in assless chaps? Alec Baldwin and Russell Brand declaring their mutual affection while crooning REO Speedwagon? Catherine Zeta-Jones rocking out to Pat Benatar in church? It's out director Adam Shankman's imaginative film adaptation of the Broadway musical about '80s hair bands. Now in theaters.

Now available on DVD.
6. FILM: Your Sister's Sister
Shy, bi director Lynn Shelton's previous film, Humpday, depicted two straight male friends making a gay porn film. In her latest, Jack (Mark Duplass), a man grieving his late brother, comes between Iris (Emily Blunt) and her lesbian sister Hannah (Rosemarie DeWitt) in a gentle comedy marked by sharp, observant dialogue and naturalistic performances. Now in select theaters.
5. PERFORMANCE: Tawny Tell Me True
There's a new girl in Ptown! See her perform Sundays June 17-September 2 at Provincetown's Crown Cabaret Room. For more information go to OnlyAtTheCrown.com.
