George_michael_symphonica_x633_010. MUSIC: Symphonica by George Michael
George Michael has had a rough go of it as of late -- the last 15 years or so -- but here's hoping he's getting his act together with the release of Symphonica, a live album recorded during his 2011-2012 orchestral tour. The songs sound pristine -- though The Guardian says that's not necessarily a good thing: "This collection of 10 covers and seven originals has an oddly manicured feel, with a lack of the mistakes and ad-libs that pump oxygen into live recordings." Out next week, Symphonica is a precursor to Michael's fifth studio album, expected soon. -- Neal Broverman

Miss Coco Peru hosts what's sure to be a fabulous evening featuring the great Ms. Minnelli at the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center's Renberg Theatre. Coco will engage Liza in an unscripted onstage interview, and the hostess promises, "Conversations With Coco is sort of like Inside the Actors Studio, only it's much more fun, and I'm prettier than James Lipton -- sort of." There will also be a multimedia presentation of highlights from Liza's storied career, and it all benefits the center. Thursday at 7:30 p.m.; pre-show reception at 6:30. More info and tickets here. -- Trudy Ring

Arrow-x633_06. TV: Arrow Season 2.5
From a steady stream of shameless (we don't mind) shirtless scenes with the hunky cast to the reintroduction of DC Comics' iconic superhero Black Canary as a bisexual, the CW's Arrow has plenty of reasons for LGBT fans to tune in. In addition to introducing a bisexual character -- a first for a series based on characters from a major comics publisher -- the show boasts several cast members who are outspoken LGBT allies, including the Arrow himself, Stephen Amell. The adrenaline-charged show returns Wednesday with new episodes and dives into a new storyline involving the DC Comics supervillain team the Suicide Squad, which has featured several LGBT characters in the past. -- Jase Peeples

Dietrich-marlene-x633_04. EVENT: Bid on Marlene Dietrich's Stuff, March 19
Now anyone with a couple of extra bucks under their mattress can own something that once belonged to the woman who was the epitome of old Hollywood glamour, Marlene Dietrich. Notably, during that golden era, the bisexual actress kissed a woman on-screen, pants become in vogue for women, and looked better in a sharp tux than any man. Several of her items, including her famous tux, her correspondence with Ernest Hemingway, and her old Underwood typewriter, will be on display in the historic Max Factor Building in Hollywood. Bidding will begin Wednesday on AuctionMyStuff.com. -- Michelle Garcia

Kylie-minogue-x633_03. MUSIC: Kiss Me Once by Kylie Minogue
Our favorite Australian diva is back with her first album since 2010's Aphrodite. Don't expect any Ray of Light-like revelations, just the same fun froth that Kylie does so well. Sia and Kylie executive-produced the album, Pharrell Williams cowrote the brilliantly-titled tune "I Was Gonna Cancel," and the first single, "Into the Blue," is simply gold. Out Tuesday. -- Neal Broverman

Kill-your-darlings-x633_02. BLU-RAY: Kill Your Darlings
John Krokidas directed and cowrote this cinematic study of the college days of Beat legends Allen Ginsberg, William S. Burroughs, and Jack Kerouac, available Tuesday on Blu-ray. The film begins with a murder mystery but finds time to explore the sexual ambiguities and deep attachments that flavored the work of these legendary wordsmiths. Starring Daniel Radcliffe as Ginsberg and Ben Foster as Burroughs. -- Neal Broverman

Veronica-mars-cast_x633_01. FILM: Veronica Mars

Veronica Mars makes her big screen debut today in the feature-film continuation of the cult-favorite TV series of the same name. LGBT ally Kristen Bell -- who refused to marry her husband until the Supreme Court struck down Prop. 8 and a key section of DOMA -- slips back into the role of the sassy sleuth for a new adventure that will delight new and old fans alike. In addition to achieving the rare feat of continuing a beloved canceled TV series on the big screen, Veronica Mars is also the first film of its kind to be funded entirely through an effective Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign -- proving the power of fandom is stronger than ever. -- Jase Peeples
