Move over the law, Kim Kardashian is wading into another area: horror. The reality star and businesswoman will join the cast of Ryan Murphy’s hit American Horror Story series in its upcoming 12th season.

On Instagram Monday, Kardashian announced her newest endeavor, where she posted a teaser video. In the clip, behind which plays a minor chord version of an almost dissonant version of the lullaby “Rock-A-Bye Baby,” one learns that the next installment of AHS revolves around things “Delicate” (the word flashes on the screen) and features the return of Emma Roberts.

Kardashian didn’t comment on the video except to caption it with emojis of eyeballs and a drop of blood.

According toVariety, FX confirmed Kardashian would join the cast, but no other details were revealed.

According to Murphy’s representative, Kardashian’s role was custom-created for her.

American Horror Story and American Crime Story writer Halley Feiffer will write all episodes and serve as showrunner.

Although Kardashian has been on TV for over 15 years with Keeping Up With the Kardashians and now The Kardashians on Hulu, her acting career has been limited.

She’s appeared in various sitcoms, including How I Met Your Mother, 30 Rock, and 2 Broke Girls as herself.

A few of her minor roles include appearing in Disaster Movie in 2008, on CSI: NY in 2009, and in Drop Dead Diva in 2012.

For Kardashian, it will be her first acting gig in over a decade.

Kardashian’s new role extends her involvement with Disney. Next month, Kardashian and her family will premiere their third season of Hulu’s The Kardashians.

American Horror Story airs on FX and also streams on Hulu.

There are few pop culture figures more recognizable than Kim Kardashian. She turned her fame and following into a billion-dollar business with her extensive reality TV platform, which boasts more than 350 million Instagram followers. As well as owning shapewear and apparel businesses, she co-founded SKKY Partners, a private equity firm.
