Turns out aligning yourself with fascism is bad for business — not that business has been doing particularly great over at X (formerly Twitter) ever since Elon Musk took over the social media platform. I mean, a company losing over 80% of its value in just two short years has to be some kind of record.

So much for “go woke, go broke” am I right? But I digress.

Following the presidential election, The Guardian reports that one social media startup is benefitting from X’s loss. Originally launched in February of this year, the Twitter-esque Bluesky has picked up more than 1 million new users since November 4, as people are exiting X and that echo chamber of hate speech and misinformation in search of, well, bluer skies.

According to Appfigures, Bluesky is currently sitting at No. 1 in Apple’s App Store for the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia — marking the first time the app has reached the top spot in any of those countries, and meaning we may finally be able to break free from X once and for all.

Good riddance.

We’re not going to lie, the platform is still a work in progress and many of our faves have not made the move yet. But with gays heading there in droves, no doubt it’s about to get spicy and a whole lot more fun in very short order. And several of our favorite celebs have already made their way over there, too.

Here are 20 queer celebs you can follow today, to start building your new, Musk- and largely MAGA-free new social media environment.

The first rule of authoritarian politics is that there’s only one source of authority. Congress will be expected to give up its role in governing, particularly anything that restrains Trump’s choices and desires.

When government uses bureaucracy to brutalize a people—when they try to hide oppression behind the normalcy of government—any representative worth their office must stand in opposition. Thank you, Te Pāti Māori.
