Things got truly trippy Monday night on Conan when out singer Boy George teamed up with comedian Jack Black to perform The Doors' classic 1968 hit "Hello, I Love You."

It all started when host Conan O' Brien asked Boy George, there to promote a new tour with his chart-topping 1980s act Culture Club, to list some of his musical influences.

Comedian Black, sitting in the adjacent seat, reacted when the Boy mentioned the Doors and the two agreed that the band's late frontman Jim Morrison had a great yell -- and, the Boy pointed out, was "beautiful" to boot.

O' Brien then challenged the unlikely duo to perform the hit song with the band's 69-year-old guitarist, who just happened to be standing nearby, guitar ready, with O' Brien's band.

Though the Boy's voice has definitely changed over the years -- it's now deeper and raspier -- it's tailor-made for the tune.
