Hosted by Ali Wentworth and Adolph Brown, The Parent Test shows how families — gay or straight — share their experiences in parenting as camera crews film the highs and lows of being a parent. The hosts help moderate the conversations between the families about their common goal: raising their kids the best and healthiest they can.

Titled “Let’s Talk About Sex,” on this week’s episode, parents discuss approaching uncomfortable conversations with their children.

“Disciplined, Traditional, Child Led and Helicopter parents take the spotlight as their families face the equally unnerving Facts of Life and Snake Alert challenges. Witness how the parents approach difficult conversations with their children and assist them during frightening situations,” a synopsis of the episode reads.

You can watch The Parent Test on Thursday nights at 9 p.m. EST on ABC or the following day on Hulu.

Below, catch an exclusive featurette with interviews with the hosts and clips from the show.

As host Brown, a parenting expert, notes in the video, “The dialogue isn’t always kind. The dialogue gets contentious at times.”
