Tension has filled the set of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood as it appears the rest of the rappers on the VH1 series are shunning the show's newest cast member because he's gay.
Rapper-model Milan Christopher has been filming with the cast for only three weeks, but a source tells TMZ that the big-name rappers on set, including Ray-J, Soulja Boy, Omarion, and Mally Mall, are giving him the cold shoulder.
Milan has worked with hip-hop stars in the past, but his credentials are as a songwriter and not a rapper himself, which TMZ's source says is an additional issue for the show's stars -- they feel Christopher has no musical cred and was hired as a sort of "sideshow" attraction to boost ratings for the show, now in its second season.
However, TMZ reports, three of the show's stars have told producers they don't want to shoot scenes with Christopher and won't attend promotional events with him.
According to VH1's website, the relationship between Christopher and his long-distance boyfriend, Miles, will be featured on the show.
Love & Hip Hop Hollywood's second season kicks off September 7 on VH1.
