Alan Cumming knows how to take a compliment.
Shia LaBeouf, who made headlines in June when he was arrested for drunkenly disrupting a performance of Cabaret at Broadway's Studio 54, recently stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live and explained why he groped Cumming, who plays the flamboyant Emcee, from the audience.
"I give him a slap on the ass because I think he deserves it," LaBeouf recalled. "He's seducing me -- I mean, he's the sexiest man I've ever seen ... I grabbed a whole cheek because I wanted the party right here in my pants."
Cumming, who appreciated the Fury star's explanation, has now shared his own side of the story on Conan. "We've all done things where we've been out of it and messed up," said the out Not My Father's Son author. "I thought he made a very good recovery. And he did say that the reason he did it was because I was the sexiest man he'd ever seen."
LaBeouf, who began receiving outpatient treatment for addiction days after his arrest, later pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct.
