British comedian Russell Brand says he wishes he were bisexual.
He made the statement while announcing his recent split from Vanity Fair European editor-at-large Jemima Khan on the U.K.'s Absolute Radio.
"I wish I was bisexual," Brand said. "That's one of the things about me where I've got a very traditional moral code. I'm tedious with my heterosexuality."
This revelation comes just a year after Brand admitted to having had a sexual experience with another man. According to the Daily Mail, Brand had sex with a man in a public toilet back in 2002 as part of a television show. "I wanked off a man in a toilet," he said. "I thought, 'I think of myself as heterosexual but perhaps that's 'cause of the environment that I grew up in where homosexuality may have been difficult for me to express.'" Brand said he went to gay bars and gyms casually asking strangers if they wanted him to "wank them off" until one man finally said "yep."
Although Brand is officially sticking to heterosexuality, he always been a strong supporter of LGBT people, taking on the likes of Westboro Baptist Church, which has called him a "fag pimp."
