Forbes just named Thomas McAfee and Michael Belkin, the out gay cofounders of the LGBT youth networking app Distinc.tt, to their list of 30 Under 30 entrepreneurs in consumer technology.

According to Forbes, "Distinc.tt claims to be the world's largest and most active network of LGBT youth, a place where they can connect with each other, express themselves, and safely explore their identity. McAfee raised $1 million from the likes of Peter Thiel, Keith Rabois, Stanford University's StartX, Harvard Innovation Lab, AOL First Floor Labs and Mass Challenge."

In late 2015, McAfee, 29, and Belkin, 28, launched potentially life-saving resources for their queer youth users in the Distinc.tt app and website, as was covered in this exclusive Advocate story.
