Evian does not suffer homophobes.

The bottled water company told a Twitter user to "delete your account" after he posted an antigay rant in response to one of its products.

The user, Ivar Ragnarsson, called a bottle design by Tiffany Cooper, in which two men are holding hands in Le Marais, Paris's gayborhood, "imposed propaganda." The bottle is one of 12 designs showcasing landmarks in the French capital.

The video, in which the user throws the bottle in the trash, has received over 3.6 million views since its posting Friday. Evian posted its response the following day in the form of the Dancing ASCII Man, a meme in the shape of a figure formed from various keyboard characters.

The video was slammed by many users other than Evian. "Homophobes, they are so fragile," said one critic. "Ouch, we are in 2019 and the guy is still stuck in the Middle Ages," wrote another.

The bottle design was released in summer 2018 as a part of Evian's Prestige line of products. It sparked controversy at the time, with some calling for a boycott of the brand. Apparently, it is still making a splash.
