Olympian diver Tom Daley has a new business.

After enthralling the world with his hobby of knitting during the 2020 Olympics, gold medal winner Tom Daley is taking things to the next level. Over the holiday weekend, Daley announced the launch of Made With Love By Tom Daley. The launch comes less than a year after first picking up a pair of knitting needles.

"It's been a journey for me that started when I first picked up my knitting needles in March 2020," Daley wrote on the About page for the new venture. "Fast forward 18 months and I'm so proud to introduce these kits to you all so that you can experience the joy I found learning to knit.

"I designed these knit kits to help encourage you to pick up those needles, learn the basics, and fall in love with knitting at the same time - all whilst creating something to show off or pass on," he continued.

The company sells knit kits for those knitting and crocheting at all levels, divided simply into beginner, easy, intermediate, and advance. The first collection includes a vest, scarves, cardigans, jumpers, stockings, and a blanket. The winter warmer hat has already sold out.

Kits include needles, biodegradable yarn made of Merino wool, and knitting patterns.

Daley had previously launched an Instagram account of the same name where he showed off his latest creations. Having first gone live in September 2020, it now boasts over one million followers.

On December 29, Daley plans to release a range of t-shirts and sweatshirts as a part of the line.
