If you like the cast and writers of Saturday Night Live but prefer the quirkier side of comedy, check out Lorne Michaels' online video production company, Above Average Productions. The channel hosts hundreds of sketches from a wide range of SNL veterans, including Fred Armisen, Andy Samberg, and Jimmy Fallon, just to name a few.
A new series by gay SNL writers Paula Pell and James Anderson called Hudson Valley Ballers debuted on the channel yesterday. The series follows Pell and Anderson, who are "best friends with no sexual chemistry whatsoever. They met in college and are now queerballin' through their days in the Hudson Valley." The first episode features Kate McKinnon and Paul Rudd as cheeky love interests.
