Funny or Die's parody recap series is back and funnier than ever.
Game of Thrones wasn't the only series to return to the small screen this week. With Sunday night's Season 5 premiere of HBO's popular series came plenty of fanfare -- and included in the the Jon Snow-fueled hype was the return of Funny or Die's uber-hilarious, online recap series Gay of Thrones.
Starring the always-fabulous hair stylist Jonathan Van Ness and TV personality Dave Holmes, the first episode of this season's Gay of Thrones saw the two sassy friends doing what they do best: giving a comedic, light-hearted, and gay perspective on the usually very serious medieval fantasy program. All from the comfort of a salon chair.
The highlight of the clip? When Holmes and Van Ness compared a gay love scene between Loras (Finn Jones) and Olyvar (Will Tudor) to the shirtless volleyball scene from the Tom Cruise classic 80's flick Top Gun.
"I am gay because of the volleyball scene from Top Gun," Holmes says.
