Republicans may have had it with the party's presidential nominee, Donald Trump, who initially refused to endorse Republican Speaker of the House Paul Ryan or Republican Sen. John McCain for reelection. When he finally did decide to endorse the candidates, he read stiffly and uncharacteristically from a piece of paper.

Even staff members are fed up, according to Late Show host Stephen Colbert.

"Trump's staff is suicidal," Colbert said last week, reviewing a very bad few days for the candidate. "They would jump off the building, but they are afraid they would see the word 'Trump' on the way down."
