It's been a memorable week for politics, starting with Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump's back-to-back appearances at the televised Commander-in-Chief Forum, the subsequent backlash against host Matt Lauer for going soft on Trump, Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson's on-air admission that he doesn't know what Aleppo is, and finally Trump's appearance at the notoriously socially conservative Values Votes Summit. This was followed quickly by Gary Johnson's Aleppo gaffe, which tweeters were quick to both mock and relate to.
And finally, Trump became the first presidential candidate to attend the anti-LGBT Values Voter Summit, and twitter sounded off about the crazy things he said there.
