Randy Rainbow Skewers Trump's Anemic Pandemic Plan to Fiddler Tune

To the tune of Fiddler on the Roof's "Tradition," Rainbow calls out Donald Trump's attempts to distract from his failure to protect Americans during the outbreak.

Donald Trump's latest strategy for failing to address his anemic response to the pandemic is to shout "Obamagate," or what satirist Randy Rainbow calls "Distraction" to the tune of "Tradition" from Fiddler on the Roof.

Although President Barack Obama isn't the only Democrat Trump has attempted to blame for his failure to act on the virus that is killing Americans. He has also distracted by tossing out the names Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Nancy Pelosi.

"How he tries to occupy your mind to perplex you he deflects to any shiny object he can find," Rainbow sings.

"So many people fighting for their lives or scared to lose their jobs and stuck inside their houses. Thousands of people dying on your watch and who is it your thinking of? Obama! Obama!"

While Rainbow has covered a range of political topics and has often gone after Trump in song, he is deadly serious in the prelude to his song that mirrors the words of Tevye in Fiddler.

"A global pandemic -- believe it or not, it's a real thing. People are suffering. Millions are out of work. The economy has evaporated, and worst of all, I haven't had a haircut in two months," Rainbow says. "So how does an unprepared reality TV host pretending to be a president deal with such an unprecedented crisis?"
