"Meet Cute" is the film and television term for a serendipitous, usually humorous first meeting that develops into a romantic relationship. Now those send-ups are explored in a new podcast -- called Meet Cute, of course -- where listeners enjoy LGBTQ+ love stories that take you from the "meet cute" moment to happily ever after in 15 minutes.

Each story is broken down into three-minute chapters and features relatable LGBTQ+ characters meeting and falling in love in a variety of amusing situations. Whether it's Nick and Todd in "Some of the Right Notes"finding romance while killing time at an open call audition, or the saxophone-playing jazz club bartender Lisa serving up drinks and something more to the newly single Marla in "Summertime," Meet Cute's whimsical short-form rom-com podcasts are sure to keep you laughing and sighing for more. And the episodes are perfect for Pride Month.

You can find these and other stories from Meet Cute on its website (MeetCute.Simplecast.com) and wherever you subscribe to your podcasts.

Below, listen to the first installment of Summertime, in which Lisa, a Connecticut-based saxophonist encounters her soon-to-be romantic partner Marla while bartending.
