Police are searching for a suspect in a brutal attack they say happened on the New York subway on Wednesday night.

FOX5 reports that a 37-year-old man was punched and kicked in the face while whoever attacked him screamed antigay slurs. The attack happened in a subway stop that serves the Theater District, at the West 50th Street and Broadway station. And it happened during a fairly regular time of the day -- at 6:45 p.m. on a Wednesday.

So, police have been able to distribute a well lit surveillance video of the man walking down New York streets. It can be watched below via NBC4.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
