John Barrowman Cancels Fan Event After Threatening Message

Doctor Who star John Barrowman was supposed to participate in a panel discussion and take photos with fans on Saturday at Montreal Comiccon, but thanks to a threat made against him, his appearance was canceled.

Barrowman, also of Torchwood and Arrow fame, released a note to fans on Facebook and referred to an email "that directly referenced me and In light of recent events," he and his managment decided to take the unspecified threat seriously. Barrowman did agree to sign autographs for fans later on Saturday, once security was arranged. See his full message below.
