As the deputy director for the progressive-minded American Progress Action Fund and the director of Guns Down America, Igor Volsky is one of the most high-profile LGBT people pleading for common-sense gun control. As the horror of Sunday night's Las Vegas shooting came into focus -- where a 64-year-old man murdered at least 58 people and injured 500 other attendees of an outdoor concert -- Volsky took to Twitter to speak the truth about America's obsession with firearms.
