Terry Crews's alleged harasser has been identified -- and he is now on leave from a major Hollywood agency.
The Brooklyn Nine-Nine star was one of the first men to come forward with allegations of sexual abuse, following an expose of now-disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein.
In October, Crews tweeted that a "high level Hollywood executive" had groped his "privates" at an industry event last year. "Jumping back I said What are you doing?! My wife saw everything n we looked at him like he was crazy. He just grinned like a jerk," Crews posted on social media. He did not name the man at the time.
The Hollywood Reporter confirmed Friday that Crews's alleged assailant is Adam Venit, a powerful agent from William Morris Endeavor with high-profile clients like Emma Stone, Steve Martin, Diane Keaton, Adam Sandler, Sylvester Stallone, and Vince Vaughn. His list also includes Brett Ratner and Dustin Hoffman, who are likewise facing accusations of sexual misconduct.
Crews is also represented by WME, but not by Venit. Crews and WME have not commented.
In October, gay agent Tyler Grasham was fired by APA after a string of young male accusers. They came forward in part due to the #MeToo social media campaign sparked by the news of Weinstein's alleged sexual assaults.
