An Oklahoma City man was stabbed to death this week, reportedly by a man he was having sex with, because the perpetrator "felt like it."

Isaac Herrera, 24, died early Tuesday morning, and Brandon Newell, 18, has been arrested on a murder complaint but has yet to be formally charged, The Oklahoman reports.

"Newell advised a witness he was having oral sex with the victim and at one point saw his knife laying there," a police detective wrote in a court affidavit filed in Oklahoma County District Court, according to the paper. "Newell stated he grabbed the knife and stabbed the victim in the throat because he felt like it."

"Newell advised the victim did not attack him and there was no altercation before he stabbed him," the detective continued. "Newell stated he knew what he did was wrong and admitted to trying to cover up the scene after the murder."

Local media have identified Herrera as a member of the LGBT community. He was a theater student at Oklahoma City Community College, according to a GoFundMe page set up by a friend to raise money to cover funeral expenses. Survivors include his mother, Veronica Myers.
