In South Carolina, a homophobic student was arrested after tweeting out he wanted to kill gay classmates.
Jonathan Logan-Guy Radford, 18, has been charged with making a bomb threat after tweeting that he wanted to cleanse his high school of LGBTQ students.
Radford, who attends Byrnes High School in Duncan, S.C., was arrested after he tweeted, "The ultimate cleansing of all anti straight and non Christians will happen to day at 8:10 at James F Byrnes High School," reports South Carolina TV station WHNS.
Police say that on October 18, an employee at Byrnes High notified them about the tweets. Radford's account also sent a direct message to a fellow student that read, "Like I said ik I have seen you at Byrnes and I also know u and ur little group of friends are apart of a lgbt and I hate the lgbt community. So I plan on bombing and shooting up your school today to cleanse everyone that's not straight or Christian."
After requesting account information from Twitter, Duncan police tracked the account to Radford via his IP address. When questioned, the teen admitted to tweeting the threats. Radford was booked the next day and is now charged with making a bomb threat.
