A Washington State man has been charged with using gay dating sites to extort increasingly explicit videos from men by luring them into "sexts" and then threatening to expose them to their families if they don't meet his demands for more lurid content.

The accused, 22-year-old Christopher Malik "CJ" Longmire, who was previously convicted in Kitsap County Juvenile Court on similar charges, pleaded not guilty in Kitsap County Superior Court Wednesday on three counts of second-degree extortion with sexual motivation and three counts of child pornography.

The 15-month investigation, spurred by a report from a California man Longmire allegedly preyed upon, took Kitsap County sheriff's deputies to the accused's house in Port Orchard, where they found phone numbers of his victims along with several images of child pornography in addition to evidence to support the extortion scheme, according to the Kitsap Sun.

Court documents say Longmire, who is a registered sex offender, exchanged sexual materials with men online before asking what the victims' families would think of their sharing sexually explicit material. He would then inform the victims he was privy to their family's information and threaten to expose the men if they didn't send more explicit videos of them engaged in the sex acts of his choice.

Longmire's history of terrorizing men and boys online began as far back as 2010, when he was a young teen and threatened to send nude photos of another teen to classmates if the victim failed to comply with the his order to send more nude photos. According to court documents at the time, when the victim wondered why Longmire would want to blackmail him, the accused replied, "because."

The accused's long history also includes a 2011 case in which he stalked a boy at his home and left threatening, sexually explicit letters that resulted in a juvenile conviction. In 2014 Longmire posed as a girl in an attempt to solicit photos from a 14-year-old boy, according to the Sun.
