Delaware police say Sean Wiley groped, punched, and shouted slurs at attendees.
Sean Wiley, 31, is accused of going on a drunken rampage at this month's Delaware Pride Festival, and now he's facing multiple charges, including a hate crime, reports Philadelphia's ABC affiliate.
Wiley is accused by police of punching a 62-year-old man in the mouth. Authorities say Wiley, clearly intoxicated, also shouted slurs at festival attendees and groped a man's and a woman's "private body parts" at the August 11 Dover festival. Wiley is also accused of trying to punch a police officer, which finally resulted in his arrest.
Wiley now faces three counts of offensive touching and one count each of third-degree assault, menacing, disorderly conduct, public intoxication, third-degree trespassing, and resisting arrest, which is a felony. Because of the alleged slurs, the hate-crime charge was added.
Wiley turned himself in to Dover Police Thursday and is now out on bond.
