Drag Race's Tatianna Releases Mug-Shot Merch Following Arrest

RuPaul's Drag Race alumnus Tatianna is known for her catchphrase "Choices" -- and she made a bold choice following a recent arrest.

The drag performer was detained Sunday in Atlanta for disorderly conduct. According to TMZ, she entered a nightclub through an employees-only entrance -- allegedly following an employee she had taken a selfie with. She was escorted outside in handcuffs after refusing to "leave peacefully."

Afterward, a mug shot of distressed-appearing Tatianna went viral on social media. The performer, who appeared on season 2 of Drag Race as well as RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars, responded Monday on Twitter to the arrest and the photograph.

"Im fine! It was a dumb situation that I wish didn't happen but shit happens and people make mistakes. There was no violence or ridiculousness," Tatianna wrote on social media. "I'm crying in the picture because I was scared and had never been in that position before. wish I would have just smiled."

In a brilliant marketing move, the drag performer also released a line of "disorderly conduct" merchandise. Her mug shot is printed on a t-shirt ($29.99), a sweatshirt ($39.99), and even a mug ($19.99).

The brush with the law is not only being used for self-enrichment, however. Tatianna is also hosting a Thrusday fundraiser for HIPS, a nonprofit supporting sex workers, at Trade, a Washington, D.C.-based gay bar.
