Don't Say Gay
Since at least 2010, Republican lawmakers have introduced various legislation aimed at erasing discussion adn sometimes mentions of gender identity and sexuality from the school system. At times, these bills have also proposed mandating that teachers out students to their parents. They have largely been dubbed by critics as "don't say gay" legislation.
