Democratic presidential candidate and former secretary of State Hillary Clinton further proved her political endurance this week by answering questions about her response to the 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya, from a congressional panel for 11 hours.
Among many people commenting on her ability to remain calm, cool, and collected in the face of scrutiny from the political panel Thursday was MSNBC host Rachel Maddow, who analyzed and discussed Clinton's testimony during her show Thursday night.
With the help of Democratic congressman Adam Schiff of California (who is a member of the House Select Committee on Benghazi), Maddow had a lot to say.
"Clearly the idea here was to see if they could wear her down, to see if they could get that moment on camera that they could play endlessly during the presidential campaign," said Rep. Schiff when Maddow asked the real reason Clinton's hearing went on for 11 hours, even though the committee -- which has a majority of Republican members -- actually learned nothing new of the deadly attacks on the U.S. mission in Benghazi.
