Samantha Bee on the Whites Who Helped Elect Trump (Video)

Samantha Bee jumped into action after Donald Trump's shocking defeat of Hillary Clinton Tuesday and aired a scathing rebuke of the white voters who put him over the top.

As Bee points out on her TBS show, 58 percent of whites voted for Trump, compared to 37 percent for Clinton. Bee saves some special ammunition for white women, who also voted for Trump in greater numbers than they did Clinton (53 percent to 43 percent). As we all know, Trump has a history of denigrating women and was caught on tape bragging about grabbing them by their genitals; he also ran a xenophobic campaign that scapegoated Muslims and Mexican immigrants.

Bee ends the segment with a call to action for the 2018 midterm elections and says to white women, "We have some karma to work off." Watch below.
