Donald Trump's announcement this morning that Indiana Gov. Mike Pence will be his running mate brought reactions both serious and humorous on Twitter.

Some pointed out Pence's record -- he signed into law Indiana's infamous Religious Freedom Restoration Act, characterized as a "license to discriminate" against LGBT people and subsequently amended. He also consistently opposed LGBT rights while serving in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Others had a bit of fun with the campaign's curiously sexual new logo -- and fun with a few other things as well.

Here are some tweets on the serious side:

Despite his hatred for "big government" Mike Pence has repeatedly used government as a tool to discriminate against Women and LGBT community

Then there were those comments on the logo:

Another bit of fun with the VP pick, but we'd prefer Ted, actually.

And frankly, we are too.
