"Don't touch me," Corey Lewandowski said to Quinn, the lesbian former New York City council speaker, during a heated CNN exchange.

During a Monday taping for CNN News, former New York City politician Christine Quinn found herself on the receiving end of a dismissive and threatened Corey Lewandowski.

Quinn was talking about Donald Trump's treatment of the Khan family, who lost their son in the Iraq war and blasted Trump during the DNC for the candidate's anti-Muslim bias. Trump, per usual, hit back, accusing Ghazala Kahn of staying mute at the DNC because her husband forced her not to speak (for the record: she was grief-stricken).

Quinn defended Ghazala and gestured toward Lewandowski, who grimaced and told Quinn what so many women have heard: "You've got to relax a little bit," That, understandably, set Quinn off. At one point she touched Lewandowski arm and he barked, "Don't touch me." Watch below, via Talking Points Memo.

Many may have grasped the irony of the moment, since Lewandowski was accused of battery by a female journalist earlier this year. Former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields said Lewandowski violently pulled her away from Trump when she asked him a question at a campaign event in March. The state prosecutor never filed charges; Lewandowski was fired from the campaign in June. Lewandowski is now a regular commentator for CNN.
