Tonight, candidates will take the stage at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to lay out exactly how they plan to fight for LGBTQ lives if elected president.
Alongside GLAAD, One Iowa and The Gazette, The Advocate will behosting the LGBTQ Presidential Forum and live-streaming it exclusively with YouTube.
Confirmed participants for the LGBTQ Forum, which begins at 8 p.m. Eastern, include Former Vice President Joe Biden, U.S. Senator Cory Booker, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Julian Castro, U.S. Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, U.S. Senator Kamala Harris, U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar, former Pennsylvania representative Joe Sestak, U.S Senator Elizabeth Warren, and author Marianne Williamson.
And our host for the evening is actress and activist Angelica Ross from FX's Pose.
During the Forum, each candidate will lay out their vision for improving LGBTQ acceptance across the nation at a time when LGBTQ issues have largely been absent from the national debate stage. Moderators include columnist Lyz Lenz, One Iowa policy director Keenan Crow, and The Advocate's editor-in-chief Zach Stafford.
You can join in on the conversation before and after with posting on all social channels that hashtag #LGBTQForum. And your question may just show up on stage that night.
