Since its founding in San Diego in 2015 by queer married couple Vicky and Charisse Pasche, Dapper Boi has gained national attention for its revolutionary body- and gender-inclusive clothing. And now the brand is bringing back its Next Top Model Contest — giving everyone (including you!) the chance to be the next fabulous face of Dapper Boi.
After the success of the first competition, with almost 1,000 entries in 2021, the couple and business partners say they couldn't wait to do it again and further spread the Dapper Boi message.
“We’re not just trying to change the way we view fashion, we’re trying to change the way we view each other. We are all people, beyond labels and categories," the brand's founders say. "What matters most is feeling at home in your own skin, feeling like you’re being seen and accepted not for what you are, but who you are. And while clothing may not be the answer, it’s certainly a catalyst. Clothing that fits our authentic selves can imbue confidence, inspire change, and help us show up in the world at our best.”
