At what was dubbed "An Evening With Neil Gaiman and John Cameron Mitchell" at Bard College in upstate New York, the two superstar multihyphenate creators surprised the audience with the first U.S. screening of Cameron's film adaptation of Gaiman's short story How to Talk to Girls at Parties.

The sci-fi film -- starring Elle Fanning, Matt Lucas, and Nicole Kidman -- premiered last year at the Cannes Film Festival and is set to be released in theaters in May. Check out a trailer below.
