Actress, stand-up comic, and writer Bridget McManus's short film Alice & Iza is now available on tello films, the company dedicated to telling stories about marginalized people primarily from a queer female perspective.

The 25-minute short, written by McManus and directed by tello films founder and CEO Christin Baker, explores the parameters of a one-night stand following a chance meeting at a popular West Hollywood brunch spot.

Writer and actress Guinevere Turner (Go Fish, American Psycho, The L Word, Charlie Says) plays the cautious Alice opposite Mandahla Rose (All About E, Crazy Bitches) as the smoldering, free-spirited Iza.

The film begins with Alice and Iza in bed making post-sex small talk and then flashes back and forth to reveal the events that led to their hookup.

A multihyphenate, McManus has appeared in Amazon's Transparent and also in queer content she's created. including Maybelle and McManusland. She appears in Alice & Iza with her wife, Karman Kregloe, as well as Frances Nichols and Ali Liebegott.
