Legendary French actress Isabelle Huppert's frightening mother figure preys on hapless young women in the new film Greta, from director Neil Jordan (The Crying Game, Mona Lisa). Her latest victim is the unsuspecting Frances (Chloe Grace Moretz) who is new to New York City and vulnerable after the loss of her own mother. Frances finds a handbag on the subway and kindly returns it to the owner, Greta. But it's not long before an obsessive mother/daughter relationship ensues and unravels.

With flairs of Alfred Hitchcock, Jordan's film is both suspense and horror. In an exclusive clip below, while alone with Greta at her apartment, Frances discovers she's not the only young woman to have found and returned an innocent-enough seeming green handbag. From there, things only get more intense.
