Everybody's talking about the Everybody's Talking About Jamie trailer.

The upcoming musical film follows Jamie New (Max Harwood), a 16-year-old who hopes to one day be a drag queen. As the gay teen sets out to pursue his dreams, which starts with wearing drag to prom, Jamie contends with high school bullies and an unaccepting dad.

The trailer shows dazzling clips from the New Regency and Film4 film, which is inspired by a true story and adapted from an English stage musical directed by Jonathan Butterell, who makes his feature-film directorial debut here.

Jamie also stars Sarah Lancashire, Lauren Patel, Shobna Gulati, Ralph Ineson, Adeel Akhtar, Samuel Bottomley, Sharon Horgan, and Richard E. Grant. The film's screenplay and lyrics are by Tom MacRae, with songs by Dan Gillespie Sells and a score from Sells and Anne Dudley.

Watch the trailer below. And don't miss Everybody's Talking About Jamie, coming out February 26, 2021, in U.S. theaters.
