A mother's strange final wish leads a pair of siblings on an unexpected adventure.
In Breaking for Whales, an upcoming dark dramedy directed by Sean McEwen, Brandon Walker (Tom Felton) and his sister Star (Tammin Susok) are tasked with interring their parent's ashes in the body of a whale.
A road trip to San Antonio ensues, in which Brandon appears to be in denial about his gay identity. "I am not going to say it again. I am not gay!" he yells at his sister in the clip. However, at one point, he locks lips with a character played by Austin Swift, Taylor Swift's brother.
In the trailer, the siblings also run into their eccentric uncle and aunt, portrayed by David Koechner (Anchorman) and Wendi McLendon-Covey (The Goldbergs), respectively.
Felton, 32, is best known for portraying Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise. Swift, 28, has film credits in I.T., Live by Night, and We Summon the Darkness.
Gravitas Ventures will release Braking for Whales April 29 on VOD and the film can now be rented on iTunes. Watch the trailer below.
