House of Gucci's first trailer is on fire with Lady Gaga starring as Patrizia Reggiani, the ex-wife of Adam Driver's Maurizio Gucci, who was sentenced to 29 years for ordering a hit on him. Acclaimed director Ridley Scott (Alien, Thelma and Louise, Gladiator) helms the anticipated film that's based on Sara Gay Forden's book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed.

The crime film spans three decades beginning with the love affair, marriage, and divorce of Italian socialite Patrizia and Maurizio. The son of Rodolfo Gucci (Jeremy Irons) and the grandson of the fashion house's founder Guccio Gucci, Maurizio was gunned down in 1995, a hit for which Patrizia was convicted and sentenced to 29 years.

The film delves into the circus around the trial and costars Al Pacino as Maurizio's uncle Aldo Gucci, Jared Leto as Aldo's son Paolo Gucci, Jack Huston as attorney Domenico De Sole, and Salma Hayek as Patrizia's confidante Giuseppina "Pina" Auriemma.

Watch the sparks fly in the House of Gucci trailer below. The film lands in theaters November 24.
