Here's to Queerer Movies to Come
Rebel Wilson posted a photo on Instagram on Thursday introducing the world to her girlfriend Ramona Agruma. In the photo, the happy couple is snuggled up and smiling.
"I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince... but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess," Wilson wrote, adding "#loveislove."
In honor of her coming out, here are the most queer-adjacent films Wilson has made.
Cats
We really don't think there's anything queerer than a cat-themed musical turned into a film. While Cats was a bomb with critics and viewers, Wilson as Jennyanydots is still charming and a definite highlight of the film.
Senior Year
After being in a 20-year coma, Wilson's character wakes up to find the world has moved on -- and there's several more Fast and Furious films. As she's coming to terms with her new reality, she finds friends in the queer kids at her old school.
Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie
We had to include her cameo appearance in the Absolutely Fabulous movie, which is full of queer characters and actors. In the film, Wilson she plays a flight attendant in a super memorable confrontation.
Pitch Perfect
Lesbihonest, even though Wilson doesn't play the film's queer character, the movie still had it's rainbow element. It is about college a capella groups after all.
Ghost Rider
As in most things, if Wilson is in a scene, she's going to steal it. She played an unnamed girl describing Nicolas Cage's character's flaming skull head in only a short, but delightfully and awkwardly funny scene.
Pitch Perfect 2
The entire movie revolves around an action by Wilson's character, which is pretty amazing in our books. There's also a leather-geared performance and plenty of sexual references between some of the girls. The film even features the a capella group Pentatonix, which has several queer members, in a fantastic musical number.
Hustle
Anne Hathaway. The chemistry. Do we need to say more?

Rebel Wilson singing, dancing, and fighting off some sketchy bad guys hired by her character's father? It definitely deserves to be on this list.
Jojo Rabbit
As Frau Rahm, Wilson plays a Hitler Youth instructor for a camp. She memorably says, "Kids it's time to burn some books!" There is a subtle queer storyline, which involves two male characters, Captain Klenzendorf (Oscar winner Sam Rockwell) and his right-hand man Finkel (Game of Thrones' Alfie Allen).
