Red, White, & Royal Bluefinally hit Prime Video today.
The film follows the First Son of the President of the United States Alex Claremont-Diaz (Taylor Zakhar Perez) as he befriends and then falls for a British Prince Henry (Nicholas Galitzine). The R-rated rom-com has stand-out performances from a stellar cast including Uma Thurman as the president.
Red, White, & Royal Blue is based on the New York Times best-selling novel by Casey McQuiston. It's directed by Tony Award-winning playwright Matthew López and co-written by him and Ted Malawer.
“Separated by an ocean, their long-running feud hasn’t really been an issue, until a disastrous—and very public—altercation at a royal event becomes tabloid fodder, driving a potential wedge in U.S./British relations at the worst possible time. Going into damage-control mode, their families and handlers force the two rivals into a staged ‘truce,’” the film’s description reads.
