Finally!
The trailer to one of the most highly-anticipated films of the summer is really, officially here. Prime Video released the official trailer for the upcoming film Red, White, & Royal Blue.
The R-rated gay romantic comedy is based on the New York Times best-selling novel by Casey McQuiston. The film hits Prime Video on August 11.
Red, White, & Royal Blue is directed by Tony Award-winning playwright Matthew López and co-written by him and Ted Malawer. Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez star as the leads in the film. Zakhar Perez plays Alex Claremont-Diaz, the son of the President of the United States (Uma Thurman) whose feud with British Prince Henry (Galitzine) turns romantic — and steamy and sexy and dramatic and cute.
“Separated by an ocean, their long-running feud hasn’t really been an issue, until a disastrous—and very public—altercation at a royal event becomes tabloid fodder, driving a potential wedge in U.S./British relations at the worst possible time. Going into damage-control mode, their families and handlers force the two rivals into a staged ‘truce,’” the film’s description reads.
Can it be August already?
