Shaun-txleadThe Insanity Workout: One of the most popular fitness workouts in the country is led by Shaun T, the celebrity trainer who has gotten half of Hollywood in shape--and who came out as gay in 2012. He's got a series of TV workouts that fans swear by (Hip Hop Abs, was No. 1 fitness program on TV for a time while Shaun T's Fit Kids Club, offered one of the earliest workout series designed specifically for kids ages 7 and up. But Insanity is the extreme workout DVD/lifestyle combo everyone is talking about now. This 60-day total body conditioning program contains 10 different workouts (cardio, balance, plyometrics, strength, etc.) along with a nutrition plan, workout calendar, and free online-support from fitness experts and other Insanity users. Using metabolic training method, Michaels' workouts burn more fat than cardio or weight training alone and she says the calorie burn continues for over half a day.
