One woman who says Donald Trump pulled her head in and kissed her is defending the candidate and attacking the media.
Numerous women have come forward -- 10 so far -- who say Trump touched them against their will. A former Miss Oregon and contestant on The Apprentice says that although Trump also kissed her on the lips without permission, "it didn't really bother me."
Jennifer Murphy tells Grazia magazine that Trump had walked her to the elevator at Trump Tower during a job interview. "I was thinking, Oh, he's going to hug me, but when he pulled my face in and gave me a smooch. I was like 'oh-kay,'" she told the magazine. Murphy was engaged and Trump was married. "I was surprised," she told the newspaper, "but then it didn't really bother me because I didn't feel he was being degrading, or he was being dishonest to Melania."
It's not clear whether this is an actual defense that Trump will make against the other women, who are all clear that his behavior bothered them. It muddies the story, at least, which might also be a tactic.
Murphy, who says she plans to vote for him as her "mentor," went on CNN today to defend Trump. She said the media inappropriately made a big deal of the kiss.
