Anderson Cooper told Donald Trump's campaign manager that a line of logic used to attack Bill Clinton would also imply the Republican candiate is "guilty of an awful lot of things."

In an on-air interview with the out CNN anchor, Kellyanne Conway discussed Trump's campaign strategy, which is "to remind people who Hillary Rodham Clinton actually is."

"If others aren't going to hold her account for her full record, then yes, we will," Conway declared.

According to Trump's campaign manager, this record includes "naming and blaming women who came in contact with her husband," former president Bill Clinton.

Conway cited to Monica Lewinsky, Gennifer Flowers, and a $850,000 lawsuit settled out of court with Paula Jones as persons and events that undermined the credibility of the Clinton family.

"But your candidate has settled numerous lawsuits without admitting any guilt on a whole number of things," Cooper pointed out. "Are you saying, are you implying that settling a lawsuit is implying guilt? Because if so, it means that your candidate is guilty of an awful lot of things."

Cooper then alluded to a lawsuit with the U.S. Department of Justice that was settled out of court. The department sued Trump and his father, Fred Trump, for housing discrimination against black people in 1973. Earlier this year, a columnist for The New York Times columnist cited to the case as one of many instances of racist behavior in Trump's past.

Conway appeared momentarily speechless by Cooper's question.
